About Dr. Azhar
Dr. Azhar earned her dental surgery doctorate from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry before completing her residency at Lutheran Medical Center in New York City. She is passionate about all areas of dentistry, particularly crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, root canal therapy, sedation dentistry, and emergency dentistry.
Samia Azhar, DDS, is a skilled dentist with a particular interest in fixed prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Board-certified by the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners and the American Board of Dental Public Health, Dr. Azhar has practiced in Maryland for more than 10 years. She currently serves the men, women, and families of Elkridge, Maryland, at Family Dental Wellness Center.
Additionally, Dr. Azhar holds a number of professional memberships, including the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Howard County Dental Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Azhar is a huge fan of the Baltimore Ravens. She currently resides in Ellicott City, Maryland, with her husband and their two wonderful children.
